Summit Food Grade products are listed by NSF®  for H-1 application (lubricants with incidental food contact) and comply fully with the requirements of FDA 21CFR 178.3570.

Most of our Food Grade products are also Kosher.

 

FG Series

Summit FG Series lubricants are specially designed for rotary screw, vane and reciprocating compressors being used in the food service industry. These lubricants are listed by NSF®   for H-1 application (lubricants with incidental food contact) and comply fully with the requirements of FDA 21CFR 178.3570.

The FG Series lubricants are formulated from the highest quality synthesized hydrocarbon fluids available. The special additive system is blended with the synthetic base-fluid to provide extended lubricant life and to protect against wear, rust and corrosion. FG Series lubricants are extended life lubricants and have the same software compatibility as Summit SH® Series Lubricants.

FG-100 is designed for use in rotary screw compressors and applications requiring an ISO-32 lubricant. FG-200 & FG-250 are designed for use in rotary screw compressors and other applications requiring an ISO-46 or ISO-68 lubricants. FG-300 is designed for use in reciprocating compressors, rotary vane compressors and other applications requiring an ISO-100 lubricant.  FG-500 is designed for use in reciprocating compressors and general lubrication applications requiring an ISO-150 lubricant.

All grades are Kosher approved.

HySyn FG

Summit HySyn FG series hydraulic oils are formulated specially for hydraulic systems operating in the food service and packaging industry. These fully synthetic lubricants are listed by NSF®   for H-1 application (lubricants with possible incidental food contact) and comply fully with the requirements of FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 and are Kosher approved.

HySyn FG lubricants are fortified with oxidation inhibitors as well as anti-wear additives to enhance the superior qualities offered by the synthetic hydrocarbon base stock. They are extended life lubricants and have the same excellent software compatibility as the Summit HySyn series hydraulic oils.

Available as: HYSYN FG-15, HYSYN FG-22 HYSYN FG-32, HYSYN FG46, HYSYN FG-68, HYSYN FG-100, HYSYN FG-150

All grades are Kosher approved.

R Series

Summit R Series synthetic hydrocarbon refrigeration lubricants are designed to function under severe service conditions.  These fluids have a very high viscosity index, contain no paraffin and are compatible with various fluorinated refrigerants, ammonia, methyl chloride and carbon dioxide. The Summit R Series are completely miscible with petroleum-based fluids.  

These products are listed by NSF®   and have Kosher approval.

R-100 is designed to operate in rotary compressors requiring an ISO-32 viscosity rating.

R-200 is designed to operate in rotary screw compressors requiring an ISO-68 viscosity rating.

R-300 is designed to operate in reciprocating compressors requiring an ISO-100 viscosity rating.

SBL Food Grade

Summit SBL FG synthetic lubricants are formulated to provide maximum lubrication protection and service for all positive displacement blowers including Roots, Gardner-Denver, Sutorbilt, Duroflow and MD.  Advantages over petroleum lubricants include extended lubricant life (up to 8,000 hours with oil analysis), reduced operating temperatures, better corrosion protection, enhanced low and high temperature lubricating properties, longer blower life with reduced wear, and lower maintenance costs.  The SBL synthetic lubricants exceed the specification requirements for all of the major manufacturers of positive displacement blowers and are compatible with most commonly used seal materials.

 In applications where food contact might occur, the Summit SBL-220F and SBL-320F meet the requirements of FDA21CFR 178.3570 and are Kosher approved.

Syngear Food Grade PG Series

Summit Syngear Food Grade PG Series synthetic lubricants are polyglycol-based products for use in enclosed gear, bearings, and compressors where conditions demand the unique properties of these fluids.  Use these lubricants where there is the potential for incidental contact with food or food packaging.  Better wear protection, thermal and oxidation stability and reduced sludge and deposit formation insure enhanced performance when compared with petroleum-based lubricants.  These lubricants comply fully with the requirements of FDA21CFR 178.3570  is ISO grades 220, 320 and 460.

The Syngear Food Grade PG Series lubricants are incompatible with petroleum oils.  Care should be taken to prevent the two types of fluids from being mixed.

Syngear FG

Summit Syngear FG series gear oils are formulated specially for gear systems operating in the food service and packaging industry.  These fully synthetic lubricants comply fully with the requirements of F.D.A. 21 CFR 178.3570 for lubricants with possible incidental food contact and are Kosher approved in ISO grades 150, 220, 320, 460 and 680.

Syngear FG lubricants are fortified with oxidation inhibitors as well as anti-wear/EP additives to pass the highest stages of the FZG test.  They are extended life lubricants and have the same excellent software compatibility as the Summit Syngear  series gear oils.

These products are listed by NSF®   and have Kosher approval.

HyPar FG Series hydraulic oils are ideal for the lubrication of production equipment in beverage canning, bottling operations, meat and poultry processing, dairy operations, fruit and vegetable processing, bakeries, and pharmaceutical plants.
