Summit FG Series lubricants are
specially designed for rotary screw, vane and reciprocating compressors being used in the
food service industry. These lubricants are approved by the USDA for H-1 application
(lubricants with incidental food contact) and comply fully with the requirements of FDA
21CFR 178.3570.
The FG Series lubricants are formulated from the
highest quality synthesized hydrocarbon fluids available. The special additive system is
blended with the synthetic base-fluid to provide extended lubricant life and to protect
against wear, rust and corrosion. FG Series lubricants are extended life lubricants
and have the same software compatibility as Summit SH® Series
lubricants.
FG-100 is designed for use in rotary screw
compressors and applications requiring an ISO-32 lubricant. FG-200 is designed for
use in rotary screw compressors and other applications requiring an ISO-68 lubricant. FG-300
and FG-400 are designed for use in reciprocating compressors, rotary vane
compressors and other applications requiring an ISO-100 lubricant.
Available as: FG-100, FG-200, FG-300, FG-500
All grades are Kosher approved.

Summit Supra-32
and
Supra
Coolant® have been formulated to
address the specific problems associated with conventional rotary screw compressor
coolants: thermal degradation and deposit formation. The polyglycol/ester blend provide
superior performance in the areas of oxidation resistance and deposit formation.
Supra
32 and Supra Coolant® eliminate the varnish, sludge and frequent
lubricant changes associated with hydrocarbon oils.

Summit Ultima is a high performance
lubricant formulated specifically to outperform other synthetic rotary compressor
lubricants on the market. Ultima employs a unique base stock that allows
improvements in oxidation resistance and sludge and deposit formation over conventional
synthetic base stocks. It is also compatible with existing
O.E.M. provided lubricant.
Available as: Ultima, Ultima 68

SBL
synthetic lubricants are formulated to provide maximum
lubrication protection and service for all positive
displacement blowers including Roots, Gardner-Denver,
Sutorbilt, Duroflow and MD.
Advantages over petroleum lubricants include extended
lubricant life (up to 8,000 hours with oil analysis),
reduced operating temperatures, better corrosion protection,
enhanced low and high temperature lubricating properties,
longer blower life with reduced wear, and lower maintenance
costs. The SBL synthetic
lubricants exceed the specification requirements for all of
the major manufacturers of positive displacement blowers and
are compatible with most commonly
used seal materials. In applications where food contact
might occur, the Summit SBL-220F
and SBL-320F
meet the requirements of FDA21CFR 178.3570 and are Kosher
approved. Available
as: SBL-220, SBL-320, SBL-220F, SBL-320F

Summit TM Series is formulated from
highly refined petroleum base stocks and the unique additive
Syntholate. The refining
process includes catalytic hydrogenation to remove impurities, M.E.K. solvent dewaxing to
provide low pour points and vacuum distillation to assure low vapor pressure. The addition
of Syntholate inhibits the formation of varnish and carbon and provides superior thermal
and oxidative stability. Utilizing the superior petroleum base stocks fortified with
Syntholate extends the life of the Summit TM Series compared to that of
conventional mineral oils and provides the following money saving benefits:
- Reduced lubricant consumption - Extended drain intervals and lower vapor
pressures reduce lubricant consumption.
- Reduced maintenance -Syntholate reduces carbon and varnish formation thus
extending valve life and the time interval between overhauls.
- Eliminates recompression- Syntholate keeps the valves clean and eliminates the
primary cause of recompression.
- Reduced power consumption - Elimination of recompression and reduced coefficient
of friction results in less power consumption per unit of compression.
- Improved safety - Higher flash points provide a greater margin of safety in air
compression.
The Summit TM Series with Syntholate pays for itself
with the first lubricant change.
Available as: TM-10, TM-20, TM-30, TM-40

Summit Varnasolv
The use of petroleum lubricants, primarily automatic
transmission fluid (ATF), in rotary screw and rotary vane compressors results in the
formation of varnish and carbon. The varnish and carbon is deposited throughout the system
and can cause a number of serious operational problems, resulting in excessively high
maintenance costs.
Summit's Varnasolv can help alleviate the
problems caused by varnish and carbon. Varnasolv is designed to be used as an
additive in the lubricant to remove and suspend varnish while the compressor is in
operation. Using Varnasolv eliminates the need for disassembling the compressor for
cleaning. For maximum benefit, use Varnasolv prior to each lubricant change.
