Save money and avoid risk with the perfect heat transfer oil for your application

The right heat transfer oil helps you get the most out of your equipment, even when operating at extreme temperatures. It saves money by making your operation more efficient and helps you avoid equipment failure and downtime.

Heat Transfer Oils

The wrong heat transfer oil can be damaging or, in the worst-case scenario, dangerous. If the oil can’t handle the environment of your system, it’s at risk to either evaporate or freeze and shut down your operation.

With the stakes as high as they are, many companies either buy a more expensive oil than they need – to be safe – or create other elaborate heating or cooling systems to help mitigate temperature extremes. Partnering with Summit gives you a solution to avoid both problems.

We offer a wide range of heat transfer oil options and the expertise to find the perfect fit for your application.

All Summit heat transfer oils have been specially formulated to include:

  • Low flammability / toxicity
  • Low vapor pressure
  • Low pour point / viscosity
  • High thermal stability
  • High heat transfer coefficient

The Thermoyle P Series is a hydrogenated petroleum-based thermal fluid designed to handle temperatures up to 500°F. It comes in five viscosities and is exceptional at combating the problems of carbon formation on heated surfaces and the decreased fluid life commonly encountered with conventional petroleum-based fluids.

Dealing with a more extreme environment? Thermoyle HT Series features three viscosity options, all built from a synthetic hydrocarbon base stock that can handle operating temperatures as low as -50°F and as high as 600°F. It offers the additional benefits of having an extremely low vapor pressure and sub-zero pour points, which allows for increased efficiency while reducing pressure build-up and evaporation losses.

Don’t settle for heat transfer fluids that are too risky or don’t fit your application. Summit’s wide range of options will help you:

  • Reduce equipment downtime
  • Avoid equipment failure
  • Save money by matching the right oil to your specific application
